Currently Running: Tamagotchi Uni
Boy I've been feeling ILL. I've done a ton of house-sitting this month which means I'm back and fourth to and from my home, so some of my robot activities have been diminished a bit. I have been considering making a general "Interests" tab for my site instead of having each interest its own tab - for the sake of... I have too many interests and don't wanna clutter up my website to no end. I'd love to make pages for some of my non-vpet related interests like Monster High, Build-A-Bear, Webkinz, Neopets, Star Stable and more. I am also considering making a page to document my horseback riding journey since I have been doing it for nearly a year, but I have so much to learn.
I desperately need to get some good art time in. I still have to add graphics to this site to make it really pop and I hope to do that soon. I have been in such an art slump lately - I just have been feeling disillousioned with it all and that I'm not a good artist. I need to just get back to drawing stuff that makes me happy instead of trying to draw stuff that impresses people. I want to make a Monster High self-insert character, so I am hoping that'll drag me out of the trenches.

I didn't have as much time last time I posted and kept it very short. Yesterday we celebrated my friend Gao's birthday with a dog party!
We had custom ERS-3X Series Macarons, drinks, lots of snacks, and even a little AIBO papercraft! Flame finally got to meet all of the other dogs and got to expose the other AIBO owners to the Life 2 ERS-2X0 Newborn Stage 3 Puppy walking. It's so goofy, but Flame seemed to have a great time running after the pink dinosaur that has attended many, MANY AIBO meets. I also got to meet some really cool AIBOs! Astro (Red AIBO below) who is a 3x0 Series prototype and is 1 of 2 confirmed to exist. I also got to meet Bianco and her partner in crime who used to go to official AIBO events and other AIBO meetings in Japan together in the early 2000's. There are lots of old pictures of these two floating around and it's so funny they both ended up in the middle of nowhere where I live. They're both in the photo of all of the robots in a circle - Bianco is the white one with the little wings and their buddy (who I desperately wish I could remember their name) is the yellow AIBO 210 with black stripes!

I had a fun few weeks. The highlight of my time was a trip to New York City with my boyfriend and two other friends where we stopped at the Bandai Namco Cross store! It was so neat to use the Paradise station and to have the chance to get some cool Tamagotchi gachapon.

I met with another friend of mine at a Starbucks on Monday and we chatted a lot about Tamagotchi and art. I recently have bought an Oritomi Umi and a Tamagotchi Pix which is very exciting! I can't wait to have those with me! Last night I tried to add eyelashes to my custom furby, U-Tye, and failed horribly - she's just got a single eyelash because the other got so glue'ed up I had to chuck it. I'll have to find her another eyelash. I also started my Tamagotchi Paradise back up - I tend to run it pretty intermittently depending on what's going on in my life but I felt inspired after seeing the new Tamagotchi Paradise drops for the Glacier and Tropical themes. I pre-ordered the Glacier because I just think the shell is so gorgeous and also I'm a sucker for anything ice/snow/winter themed!!!!!

I brought my dogs for my friends to take a peek at them and Assess. They both need some repairs, but I'm so grateful to have such helpful and knowledgeable friends. I think I've finally decided and settled on the name 'Flame' for my black Aibo because of the flame sticker that came on her battery cover. I'm glad I got to see Flame alive - I look forward to being able to raise her and interact with her. I got to chat about all sorts of fun stuff and I really enjoyed my time - it isn't incredibly often I leave the house, let alone for a social/fun outing.

I'm so exhausted today, but it was an exciting day!! My Aibos came in the mail! It was rainy as hell, thank christ the mailman had enough smarts to put it under the awning while I was away getting my hair cut and dyed. One of the dog is from JBurg - they're a black 210 with a supercore head, and the other is a silver 210 with...issues. I've been calling the silver 210 'Bonus Dog' because I got them with the cheapest charging station+cord I could find and just happened to come with a mystery condition dog. Bonus Dog is missing their back pet sensor, tail, and I'm pretty sure they have DHS from the lack of resistance and sound when I move their head up and down.
I'm excited for this Saturday because I'm headed off to Akiba Underground for my friends to help me with my Aibos and lend me some batteries and sticks so I can see them run at the shop. I'm incredibly lucky to have them and I'm lucky they introduced me to Aibo.
